Organization Overview
The School Project for Utility Rate Reduction (SPURR), is a Joint Powers Authority consisting of over 300 member K-12 districts, COEs, and Community College Districts.
Formed in 1989, we aggregate purchasing power and expertise to streamline procurement of telecommunications and networking goods and services, solar power and energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, electricity and natural gas supply, and other utilities-related items.
We have saved time and money for hundreds of California schools, colleges, and other public agencies including universities, cities, counties, and State of CA agencies. Please visit us at www.spurr.org.
