Professional Bio
Nyerere "Nye" Hodge is a policy specialist in Community and Economic Development at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. His research focuses on workforce development, specifically, future of work, policy disruptions, labor market trends, and career pathways. With a combined background in quantitative research methods and journalism, Nye uses his experience to uncover and report economic barriers to prosperity. Nye holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in international political economy from the University of Central Florida. Prior to joining the Atlanta Fed, he was a research analyst at a leading international workforce analytics firm, formerly known as Burning Glass International. Prior to his career change, he developed his journalism chops as an associate news producer for the ABC News affiliate in Orlando, Florida.
