Professional Bio
Narda M. Jones is the founder and principal of Acacia Hill Strategies and a senior fellow at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies. She is a nationally recognized technology, infrastructure, and public policy leader with more than 25 years of experience shaping Universal Service Fund policy.
Narda spent 14 years in staff and senior leadership roles at the Federal Communications Commission, addressing E-Rate, the Rural Health Care Program, high-cost support and cost models, and the USF contributions system. More recently, she led the Future of USF Reform Task Force, which developed recommendations for the congressional working group examining the future of the Fund.
Narda also brings deep congressional and legislative experience. She served as senior technology policy advisor and counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and led legislative affairs for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. In 2022, Narda returned to the FCC to help lead the agency as chief of staff to Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel.
Narda holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. from Wesleyan University.
