Megan Sutherland

Megan Sutherland serves as the Deputy Library Director for the Prince George's County Memorial Library System. She provides strategic and operational oversight for programs, services, and collections across the 19 branch libraries, the law library at the county correctional center, and the Library2Go: Mobile Career Connector. Ms. Sutherland is deeply committed to advancing equity-driven, community-focused library services. Megan is a passionate advocate for libraries, serving on the Intergovernmental Relations Task Force of the Maryland Association of Public Library Administrators, where she coordinates General Assembly testimony on behalf of Maryland’s public library systems. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Mary Washington College.
