Professional Bio
Ji Soo Song is the Digital Equity Advocate and Policy Leader for SETDA, bringing extensive expertise in digital equity and education policy. Previously, he was a digital equity advisor and Federation of American Scientists Impact Fellow at the U.S. Department of Education, where he led efforts to close the digital divide. His work included publishing federal broadband adoption guidance and shaping the 2024 National Educational Technology Plan.
Before his federal service, Ji Soo was senior policy advisor at the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), where he drove research and communication on public policy issues, including digital learning standards, educator credentialing, and professional development funding.
Ji Soo holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.Ed. in Education Policy and Leadership from American University, equipping him to lead transformative initiatives in educational technology.
