Janie Dunning

Janie Dunning had 49-year career with USDA Rural Development with the last eight years serving as State Director delivering all programs and increasing the vitality and vibrancy of rural Missouri. Recognizing the need for communities to have fast, reliable and affordable broadband, she became the Broadband Consultant for Missouri Farm Bureau and led the effort to make broadband a priority. She now continues her work as community servant as she leads the Show Me Broadband Coalition in the state , assists in leading State Connections, a broadband coalition for state legislators, and works on other state and national broadband policies in partnership with the Benton Institute.
