James Jack is Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Human-I-T, which has distributed over 120,000 devices to people in need across the country. A Detroit native and self-taught entrepreneur, James skipped college to start an IT consulting firm and left it to build Human-I-T. He now leads the organization's partnerships, pilots, and new revenue models. SXSW honored him with its Community Service Award in 2018 for his commitment to digital equity.
