After 25 years focused on fiber infrastructure sales, I decided to launch my own consulting/facilitating company to collaborate with organizations to leverage my expertise and relationships. My focus now is to assist Companies, States, Counties, Utilities, Education and others with their Digital and Fiber Infrastructure challenges as well as commercializing their fiber assets for revenue.
My company Fiber GC was formed to assist my clients with developing fiber infrastructure plans, while commercializing their fiber assets. I have a diverse background with Carriers and Wireless as well as a great deal of interaction with our Higher Education, RENS (Research & Education Networks), States, Counties and Utilities, from my years of collaboration with Internet 2, The Quilt and others.
• I have a robust background in fiber and digital infrastructure, particularly in helping clients navigate their connectivity and network needs. My experience with significant projects, such as those with the PA Turnpike Commission and NC DOT, highlights my expertise in developing and commercializing dark fiber projects.
• My focus areas, including Digital and Fiber Infrastructure, Emerging Technology Applications, and Cloud and Cyber Security, are increasingly relevant in today's digital landscape. The demand for fiber-optic internet is growing, as it is essential for improving internet speed and access across the United States. This aligns with my role as a facilitator of business connectivity services, where I help clients identify the best vendor solutions for their specific applications.
• My collaborative approach in working with clients to manage their telecom services and find suitable vendors is crucial. As the industry evolves, particularly with the rise of dark fiber networks, the need for effective planning and design strategies becomes paramount. This ensures that clients can leverage their fiber assets to generate revenue while focusing on their core business operations.
