Brian Daniels is senior vice president, Strategic Networks, z5G at Zayo. He leads a team of Zayo’s experts focused on Long Haul Fiber, E-Rate and
Mobile Infrastructure, which includes the foundation for 5G networks. Brian oversees strategy, operations, product development, underlying rights, government relations, implementation and real estate options. Zayo’s solutions include fiber backhaul and fronthaul, as well as full turnkey implementation, including RF design, site acquisition, permitting and installation of equipment. Brian joined Zayo in 2014 as a product manager and has held leadership roles in fiber solutions, product management and business development. Earlier in his career, Brian was a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch. He also played professional football for the Minnesota Vikings. Brian holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the University of Louisville. He is a native Coloradan who enjoys the outdoor lifestyle, including running and skiing. Brian is an active advocate and supporter of lung cancer research.
