Bo Ford is the Digital Equity Program Manager for the New Mexico State Library, where he leads statewide initiatives that help libraries expand access to broadband, digital skills training, telehealth services, and technology resources. With a background spanning digital inclusion, public health, community engagement, and workforce development, Bo has worked alongside libraries, Tribal communities, government agencies, healthcare organizations, and broadband providers to advance equitable access to information and technology.

Statement of Interest for the Board of Directors
I hope to bring SHLB a practitioner’s perspective grounded in building and implementing digital equity programs through community anchor institutions. As the Digital Equity Program Manager for the New Mexico State Library, I lead a statewide program supporting more than 130 libraries, including rural and Tribal communities, while managing multimillion-dollar funding and partnerships across government, telecommunications, healthcare, nonprofits, and community organizations.
