CARES Act Funding Research


Passed in March 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act sought to help the families and individuals suffering amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The broadband connectivity gap, or digital divide, was one of the challenges that the CARES Act tried to address. In December 2020, the SHLB Coalition collected data – available in the spreadsheet below – to learn more about this spending.
