SHLB Commends FCC Decision to Fund All FY2019 Rural Health Care Applicants March 16, 2020

Washington, D.C. (March 16, 2020) - Today the Schools, Health & Libraries Broadband (SHLB) Coalition praised the Federal Communications Commission for fully funding all eligible Rural Health Care (RHC) applications for the 2019 funding year (FY2019).
John Windhausen Jr., executive director of the SHLB Coalition, made the following statement:
“Healthcare providers depend upon the RHC Program to fund the essential broadband services necessary to keep Americans healthy. The SHLB Coalition commends Chairman Pai and the entire FCC for supporting those on the frontlines of combatting COVID-19.”
