Washington, D.C. (November 18, 2019) - Today the Schools, Health & Libraries Broadband (SHLB) Coalition welcomed Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai’s support for public auction of C-band spectrum.

John Windhausen Jr., executive director of the SHLB Coalition, made the following statement:

"The SHLB Coalition is pleased that Chairman Pai has announced his support for auctioning the C-band licenses. This decision will make more valuable mid-band spectrum available for 5G to benefit anchor institutions and the American consumer."
