Support the SHLB Coalition

SHLB Coalition Corporate Sponsorship Program

The SHLB Coalition is one of the most influential broadband advocacy organizations in the U.S.

Anchor institutions are the gateway to the community. Schools, libraries, healthcare providers, and other anchor institutions provide critical broadband services to pupils, patrons, patients, and people of color all across the U.S. That is why the Schools, Health & Libraries Broadband (SHLB) Coalition promotes the deployment of open, affordable, high-quality broadband "to and through" anchor institutions to the surrounding community. We work closely with forward-looking commercial companies, because public-private partnerships are essential to solving the digital divide.

We have created this corporate sponsorship program to provide companies the opportunity to increase their invisibility, engage in thoughtful discussion with anchors and policymakers, and support the SHLB Coalition mission.

Why support the SHLB Coalition?

By becoming a SHLB Coalition corporate sponsor, your company can take a leadership role and work closely with anchor institutions to promote digital equity.

► We are effective — our work has enabled thousands of schools and libraries to obtain E-rate funding and added more funding for telehealth networks.

► We have strong relationships with key policymakers in Washington, D.C.

► We combine the best attributes of an advocacy organization and a "think tank."

► We bring together thought-leaders from the industry, goverment officials, and public interest organizations.

► We propose realistic policies that embrace new technologies and incentivize the deployment of high-capacity wired and wireless networks, especially in rural markets.

► We are growing fast — SHLB membership has increased from 50 to over 170 organizations in the past two years.

► We are active and engaged. We produce webinars, issue a monthly newletter, hold biweekly membership calls, publish research and reports, file comments, and regularly meet with policymakers at the FCC and on Capitol Hill.
