SHLB Coalition Welcomes the FCC Report on E-rate Category 2 Budgets February 11, 2019

Washington, D.C. (February 11, 2019) - Today, the SHLB Coalition welcomed the release of the Wireline Competition Bureau (WCB) Report on E-rate category 2 budgets. The WCB Report recommends the continuation of the category 2 budget approach, which benefits schools and libraries across the country.
John Windhausen Jr., executive director of the SHLB Coalition, made the following the statement:
"The FCC Bureau's report on E-rate category 2 confirms what SHLB members actively experience – that the budget approach enables schools and libraries to upgrade their Internet access, and promotes individualized learning and public access to information."
