The Schools, Health & Libraries Broadband (SHLB) Coalition’s sixth Annual Conference will be held on April 27-29, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel in Crystal City, Virginia (near DC Reagan National Airport).
Each year SHLB's Annual Conference attracts 200-300 people from across the country to discuss key broadband policy issues that are important to anchor institutions and their communities. This year’s sixth Annual Conference will focus on E-rate Compliance, Lifeline, Telehealth, and Fiber Build Out, as well as other policies and funding programs that will impact broadband deployment for anchor institutions and communities. Senator Angus King and Valerie Truesdale (the Chief Technology, Personalized Learning & Engagement Officer for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools) will give plenary addresses. Representatives of the Broadband Opportunities Council (BOC) will participate in a lunch panel on Friday, April 29.
Online registration will end on April 25, 2016. Onsite conference registration will begin at 11:00am on Wednesday April 27. The cost of registration onsite is an additional $100 for every registration type.
